Verde is a commitment to beauty on the inside and out—recognizing the need to both live beautifully and care for the world around us. The past few years have been spent putting the finishing touches on a holistic approach to salon services that elevates style while decreasing its impact on the environment. You’ll find our passion for substance and style at work everyday both in and out of the salon.

As more and more companies talk about being green, you’ll find that it can mean different things to different people. At Verde Salon, we like to say it means “a world of difference” as our signature approach simultaneously protects our world and work environments. The space was constructed with painstaking attention to environmentally friendly details. Low or no-VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) paints and finishes were used to drastically improve air quality and safety, especially for people with chemical sensitivities. Throughout the salon you’ll find recycled wallpapers, bamboo flooring, energy efficient lighting, EnergyStar appliances and continual use of recycled papers for print and advertising.

You’ll also notice our commitment to environmental responsibility—both on and off the shelves. To start, we use no-formaldehyde nail polishes because of its link to asthma attacks and it’s classification as a human carcinogen. We’ve also carefully selected hair and skin products that reflect our belief in organic ingredients with a purpose. The Davines Essential Hair Care line is a prime example of this. Not only are the ingredients 80% naturally derived organic but the packaging is completely biodegradable and reusable as food containers. Our Eminence skincare line even goes as far as collecting the empty containers from us to recycle back into production.

True to form, our care for the environment goes beyond the salon itself. As a part of our guest loyalty program, Verde Salon will be planting trees in the names of our VIP guests as well as offering cash incentives to employees purchasing hybrid or flex-fuel vehicles. Our message will also travel with you as your retail purchases leave in re-usable, organic cotton totes.

Beyond our commitment to the environment, our guests will receive the “green carpet treatment.” The Verde experience will be unlike any you’ve encountered from our personal coat check service and butlered hors d’oeuvres to our unsurpassed personal attention. It is our goal for you to leave relaxed, refreshed and revived. As an educational-driven salon, we reward our employees for continuing their education and offer ”scizzors-on” training on the latest products and techniques throughout the year. As you’ll discover, our products and providers are equally committed to evolution as well.

As seen on CBS3, our newest service will give you shiny, healthy, silky and frizz free hair for months! The treatment is formaldehyde free -- contains no Thio, Sodium Hydroxide or Aldehyde. It is gentle enough to be used over previously relaxed hair, color-treated or highlighted hair, and over other keratin treatments. In fact -- it transforms unruly, frizzy or curly textures into manageable, easily styled, silky, smooth, glossy hair!
